A bit about me…the yoga story
I’m Beth, a 600hr+ hour YogaPros (formerly Yoga Professionals UK) registered teacher, serving the village of Easton in Norfolk and the surrounding areas. I have had the privilege of teaching yoga for the past decade, to both adults and children. I love nothing more than sharing my practice with others and seeing the positive effects yoga brings to all who make it a part of their life.
The yoga journey begins…
After graduating from my first 200 hour Yoga Teacher training (in Mysore, India), I had an increased desire to further expand my yogic understanding. I continued to seek out opportunities to deepen my knowledge from a wide range of superbly experienced and skilled teachers, including (but not limited to): a further 300 hour training in Ayurvedic yoga and Natural Therapy, Chair yoga, Restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga for Menopause, Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga and Mother and Baby Yoga and Essential Oils for Yoga. All courses have been accredited by Yoga Alliance and/or YogaPros (formerly Yoga Alliance Professionals UK).
My personal practice centres around vinyasa, a flowing practice where poses are linked together in a continuous sequence, synchronised with the breath. The style is born out of another personal favourite style: Ashtanga yoga, a dynamic and demanding style of yoga that follows a fixed sequence of postures (asanas), underpinned by synchronisation of breath with movement.
The classes I offer are hatha (a slower-paced, foundational style) interwoven with vinyasa, alongside other elements of yoga teachings, learned throughout the years. All my classes are accessible to all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners.
My Yoga Philosophy
Bringing together my background in education, fitness and mental health training, I aim to create classes that are welcoming, supportive and accessible whilst remaining true to authentic, ancient traditions of yoga.
My yoga practice is rooted in the belief that we are all doing our best with the bodies, minds, and lives we have. I don’t see yoga as something to be perfected, but as a space to pause and reconnect with ourselves in a world that constantly pulls us elsewhere. With that, I aim to deliver classes with compassion that meets everyone exactly where they are, knowing that every person arrives on the mat with their own story. Yoga, to me, is not about pushing through pain or striving for shapes; it’s about listening closely and choosing what feels nourishing.
I hope to guide others in a way that feels supportive rather than authoritative. I am always learning, and I try to teach from that place: open, curious, and willing to adapt. Progress in yoga isn’t measured by flexibility or stamina, but by moments of stillness and self-awareness that we manage to cultivate amid busy, demanding lives.

A bit about me…the Zumba® story
I’m Beth, a licensed** member of the Zumba® Instructor Network™, serving South Norfolk at classes in the village of Easton, near Norwich. I have enjoyed teaching Zumba® for the past decade and I adore sharing the fun of Zumba® with everyone who comes to class, whether in Zumba® Kids Classes, or adult classes.
** to check if an instructor is licensed, check zumba.com. The class is only Zumba® if taught by a current, fee-paying, licensed instructor.
Dance has been a part of my life since childhood and in 2012, I stepped into my first Zumba® class and was instantly hooked. I attended classes with some superb local and international instructors, skilled at their craft and full of enthusiasm. My passion for Zumba® and the incredible feel-good vibes led me to train as an instructor four years later. I have subsequently trained in a wide variety of the licences offered by Zumba®, in order to be able to serve as many different needs as possible. More details of the licences I hold can be found on my page, on the Zumba® website.
I feel privileged to be able to teach both children and adults (separate classes); I love seeing their smiles and feeling the sense of community that develops and grows as I share this infectious form of fitness with all ages.
My Zumba® philosophy
For me, Zumba® is simply about finding joy in movement. I don’t believe you need to be a dancer, look a certain way, or move perfectly to belong in a class. So long as you come with the intention of having fun, you’re doing enough and you will be very welcome!
I try to create an atmosphere where you will feel free to laugh at missed steps (including mine!), celebrate small wins, and let go of anything that has weighed you down during the day, moving in whatever way feels good for your body.
My hope is that each class feels like a safe space to boost your mood and connect with others, without pressure or expectations.I keep on learning as an instructor, and I’m grateful for every person who shows up and shares their energy. Do let me know if you’d like to join us and become part of our fitness family, we’d love to have you!
